Resolution Honoring Charlie Kirk

WHEREAS, Charlie Kirk dedicated his life to advancing conservative principles, inspiring young people, and fostering open dialogue; and

WHEREAS, he championed the enduring values of God, Family, and Country as the foundation of a strong and free nation; and

WHEREAS, the U.S. Senate unanimously designated October 14, 2025, as the National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk, which would have been his 32nd birthday; and

WHEREAS, his life reminds us that remembrance, peace, and continued conversation lead to understanding and unity;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lexington County Republican Party recognizes October 14 to honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy, and encourages all citizens to live with faith in God, render service to others and country, respect one another, and embrace and carry forward conservative principles in our communities and our country.
